Hey, im new to all this kart racing and i want to start to race, im 13, 5'2" and i need to know what kind of kart i need? i dont want a really expensive one but i dont want a crappy one that will break down on me either.

No the problem is that, alot of our members do not seem to be on all the time... Sorry you feel that way, I am sure if you would have given more time before blowing up, you would have or will have your question answered..

It really depends on what class you want to run in. You look like you would fit into the gold flat class or the Junior Champ class. I am going off of what we run here at Dacosa Speedway, Byhalia, MS. It depends on if you want a roll cage or not. Then it depends on how much you are willing to spend. Then it depends on if you want to race asphalt or dirt. Some are better suited for dirt just like some are better on asphalt. Once you have all that, then you can make your decision on what brand kart to buy. A good investment would be a used Phantom Nemesis, they seem to work well on both dirt and asphalt. The nemesis is a flat kart, but Phantom also has champ karts, as do most companies.
