Can anyone help? I have a go kart, 5 HP tecumsah engine. It starts and runs fine. About a year old. great condition. One problem. When I press the break, the engine cuts out. How do I fix? Thanks, Mike

Apologize for not getting back with you sooner, I want to be sure I understand what kind of problem you are having... let me make sure I have this correct... When you step on the brake the motor actually cuts out, or is it more like when you step on brake and come to a stop, its kinda acting like a manual transmission on a car when you dont put the clutch in, so the motor acts like it wants to die.. Is this correct?? If so I would say that maybe your clutch is seizing up when you come to a stop, if this is the case then remove clutch and make the bushing is cleaned and lightly lubed thanks Mrquick11
