I would encourage anyone traveling to the Memphis area to check out Dacosa Speedway, after visiting the site and seeing some pictures, Very nice facility, I may have to try my hand at asphalt racing.....
Only time will tell...

If I can say anything, both are awesome facilities. I race only at Atoka because I cannot race at Dacosa, as I am the track owner. But, we have been working out our differences over the past few years, and this year has been awesome. You do not know how hard it is to run 2 tracks within a 1 hour drive and not make anyone mad. That is what we have been trying to do and so far this year it has been working out. Danny Davis - at Atoka - and myself have worked well in the past and we look to continue that! One time this year, June 3, we raced at both tracks in one day. Dacosa in the morning and Atoka at night. Awesome crowds at both tracks for a good cause. We raised over $2000.00 in one day for St. Jude's in memory of Griffin Warniment, a cancer patient (6 years old) that died last year. This is the only place that I know of, Memphis is, where you can race on both asphalt and dirt in one day. And the tracks are only 1 hour apart! Dallas Schwerin Dacosa Speedway www.dacosaspeedway.com
